On the 14th of October, 2018 I met my engaged man in Dusseldorf at 4pm.
He had a food truck called *let petit paris* at the fish market. My best friend Sarah and I wanted to waste our Sunday and get out do something with the sun shinning. It was really hot for October so we chose the fish market on the river. We drank some wine and ate some fish. This was the 1st time I saw him, Tristan. He came to us and wanted to talk with us, he was really friendly and gave us wine for free ;)
After a while, Sarah and I thought that we knew him from somewhere but we couldn't remember from where. He said maybe from TV (because he was in a singing talent show) but I said no, and thought he was really arrogant! :D Then it was something like 6 p.m. and I was a little drunk and helped him and his family close up the food truck.
We helped each other and found some good vibes and connection. I fell in love and him too.
I had to say goodbye and left with Sarah. After one day I got a message from him that he couldn't remember my name but that he was in love. I gave him a cute quiz and he found out my name again :) After 2 weeks my best friend called me and said: "Rebecca! I know from where we know him, we know him from the hypnotic show in 'Movie Park' (roller coaster park) and we were sitting next to him 10 years ago!" and I was like, "No way!". But we had the DVD from 10 years ago from the exact same show ;)
So we met 10 years ago and maybe we got hypnotized so that after 10 years we would fall in love :D On new years evening in Paris in front of the Eiffel Tower he put a ring on my finger, ever since then we've been engaged. And since that, I'm pregnant ... and happy! :)
So lucky that we met under lucky stars on the 14th of October at 4 p.m :) That's the story about it.

It was snowing that day. The first snowfall of the winter. I was home all day and supposed to meet with an ex-colleague for dinner. We had arranged it days before. But because of the snow, we changed our plans and decided to go to my place since I did not live far from his workplace and what used to be mine.
We first met about two years before that night. I was a student then and working part-time as a cashier in a garden center. I remember seeing him walk past me one day and thinking he was cute. Unfortunately, he was not single. I did not try anything. Not even to become friends. We would just say hi.
It all changed months after that. Maybe even a year after that. I was working that day. And so was he. Two of my colleagues/friends and I were going for sushi on our lunch break and one of them invited him. We spent the all the time laughing, the four of us. But I felt like something changed that day. We started talking more. Just this. I knew he was still in a relationship and I dated some guys too. But never the right one... it never lasted.
When I stopped working at the garden center in December 2017, I did not think I would see him except when I would come visit my colleagues. Which I did the month after. And I do not know what had gotten into me that day but I made it very clear that I was interested in him. Maybe it was the fact that I had learned he and his girlfriend had broken up. We exchanged our numbers for the first time. That night I texted him. We never stopped.
The 6th of February 2018 was supposed to be our first date. We changed our plans and stayed home but talked all evening. I was sitting on the armchair looking at him and thinking: "I don't want to be friends with him, I want to become his person, someone special". And from the look in his eyes, I knew that was what he wanted too.
The 13th of February 2018, we became a couple.
Our first official date was at the planetarium.

My story begins about a month and a half earlier from 7/14/2016 on a train platform.
For some time, every morning I took the train to work with a friend. She and I would meet up, walk to the station and go our separate ways when we got to the last stop. After a while she became unhappy with her job, moved on to a new one and had to take an earlier train. Because of that, I was left to take the train by myself.
Although I missed my train buddy, I quickly got accustomed to my new solitude, reading books or playing games on my phone now kept me occupied. Little did I now, that just a few feet away from me, was a new face who seemed to appear out of nowhere.
Every morning I'd see her, watch her walk onto the train and wonder who she was and what she was doing on my train. She was quiet, but very pretty, she seemed not to notice me at first but I noticed her. As the days went on we'd catch eyes sometimes as we waited on the platform.
One morning she caught me looking at her and I saw a slight smirk as she passed by, I figured that was a good indicator and maybe a good time to try and strike up a conversation with this mystery girl.
My hopes, however, were dashed on the rocks because I didn't see her for a few mornings after that one. Then, just a few days later, I was on the train making my way back home from another day at the office. As I got comfortable for the ride, I began to wonder just where that mystery girl had gone and if I'd ever see her again. As if God himself had been listening - who sits down right next to me, but my beautiful stranger.
Nerves began to wash over me, as the time for being coy was over and I would have to muster up courage and say something witty to get her attention.
As I thought about this coincidental meeting, I began to overtly giggle to myself at first in hopes that it might stir her interest. She then looked over to me and asked with a slight smile "Are you ok?" I said yes with a returned grin and we began to talk and introductions were made.
As it turns out, she had a push from the universe to take the train that day, a small mouse had scuttled its way by her office desk and she made the choice to call it quits and go home. From then on, she and I would meet in the morning and evening and take the train from and to home.
About a month after that 7/14/2016, I would ask her out for a first date, a memorable day in itself, a first kiss and a new loving connection.
Three years later we are still together, and making our way towards marriage. 7/14/2016 is the day I chose because that's the day I had my first date with my future wife, she's unbelievably perfect for me and I thank God for every day I'm with her.
I love her very much and can only hope that there are more opportunities that the stars will tell our story.

My (now husband) and I met each other in a class at the gym on base. At the time of this walk, we had exchanged phone numbers two days before and had agreed to meet up on base at 4pm and go on a walk, just continuing to get to know each other.
We both had expected that wed grab some Starbucks and go on a short walk, but we ended up walking and talking for FOUR HOURS!
On that walk is when I realized that he was the one, somehow I knew that we would be married, have children, die old together.
A few days later, he told me, "I know I should probably tell you this in person but when we went on that walk, by the end of it, I knew that you are my soulmate."
So it will forever be one of the happiest and most special moments in our lives, when we simultaneously saw what the universe had made for us ♡

In October 2010 I found my Bride on Match.com. It would then take until Christmas Day to finally hear from her.
In between that time frame I had found an employee at my job who knew her and asked him about her. He actually knew her quite well, in fact, he was like a second dad to her growing up and his daughter and my Bride were best friends. I then went onto Match.com and sent her an email stating our mutual connection and that I wanted to meet.
Christmas Day 2010 came and that night I logged in at the same time Erica responded to my email. She said I was 1 of 9 that she read and felt intrigued to answer me and how did I know Jim. We instantly hit it off and decided we would take our first date on New Years Eve. I planned the whole night out and where we would go. She got off work and as I picked her up my heart sank and I knew at that moment I had to know her more than ever. We went to several places that night in our hometowns. By the end of the night I knew I couldn't let her go into the New Year without a kiss. So that night we kissed at midnight as we welcomed in 2011. Later that year we would marry after Thanksgiving.
We have been together a little over 8 years and I wanted to show her how special that night was and bought her this as a gift for Valentines Day.

After years of praying, and searching for the person I’d spend the rest of my life with, he fell into my lap in that exact moment!
It’s something I never could’ve expected would happen. And I’ve had the opportunity to love someone with all of my heart from the moment we met. I thank my lucky stars he needed life insurance!
It was a moment in time I never want to forget. When we get married, I plan to chart that moment as well! The moment we give birth to our first child, another star chart will be needed to memorialize THAT amazing moment, too!
I want to fill the ceiling in the bedroom of our forever home with maps of all of our special moments so every time we look up we get to remember each moment that made us continue to fall in love with each other.

That was the day that I officially met the most amazing woman who would become my partner in crime.
We met in an aol chat room when I was in The Army stationed at Ft. Polk, Louisiana and she was living in Mesa, Arizona a year before I left the military. It was a match made in cyberspace. We were married November 11, 2000. It has been a crazy roller coaster ride these past 19 years with many ups and downs. She blessed me with two beautiful children, a boy and a girl. Kristofer passed at birth and Ericka is a goofy, lovable 15 year old.
For everything my wife has done over the years, I wanted to find a gift that would hold a very special meaning to us. I came across the Under Lucky Stars website right before Valentines Day. I thought that it would be such an awesome gift for her and it showed my love for her. Plus as a guy, I could actually remember a date and time. The coordinates that I chose above were the most important time in our lives.
It was the beginning of our journey and the life we have shared as a couple.

October 15th, 2016, is the day when my boyfriend and I met. And I know it was written in the stars.
That day I didn't want to go to work as a volunteer at the Astronomical Observatory, because I've always been very shy and I was afraid of getting anything wrong. But I remember there was a voice inside me which told me "go!". So I went there, and at the beginning I remember I was regretting my choice. But then, I went in the planetarium. The light was off. And at that moment he arrived. There were also other people and we introduced ourselves shaking hands. But we couldn't see our faces in the dark, so someone turned on the light. And so I saw him. And I saw his light. It seems centuries ago to me.
So we met Under Lucky Stars...literally!
I can't say how it all happened, he became a light though, present in my mind everyday, which had the power to rejoice my days. I couldn't stop thinking about his eyes and his deep gaze. And after two years, on February 11th, 2018, we finally got together. Shortly after he left for Milan to study and our story became a story at distance. But I still believe that this was the right time, because we were both ready to love. I wouldn't change anything for the world. And when I am far away from where he is, it's ok, because I know we're under the same stars. Sometimes I feel alone, but I just look for our star in the sky to smile. He is the sun and the stars of my life. I am lucky to have him by my side, I love him with my whole being.
This gift was perfect for our story, so thank you with all my heart!

It began with a little crush. I met him when I was 13 years old, and we really good friends.
He was a bit older than me and my family did not want us to date. We remained friends all those years. When I got divorced our friendship began to grow. He would always call and check on me and make sure the kids and I were doing fine. I started dating a few years after I got divorced and he even made sure that he met the guy to ensure that this one was better than the last. We started talking almost every day just casual, But I noticed that it was the highlight of my day to have conversations with him. His cousin approached me and said that he had always had a thing for me, I was shocked. But that got me thinking and I said something to him and we started dating soon after. Which was 19 years after we first met.
In Livermore California on April 12, 2014 we were married. It was a small ceremony at the nursing home where his father was, as he was too sick to leave. My daughter was my maid of honor and my son escorted me to the alter.
It was a perfect day.

My boyfriend and I met on a beautifully clear night.
December 21st, 2018 at 12:12am to be exact. I was late to our first date by like an hour and he thought I was standing him up. I finally showed up and we stood in the middle of freezing cold Cincinnati, and the first thing we did was say hello and hug each other. I very clearly remember looking up and remembering how beautiful the night sky was. Well, as we got to know each other, it turns out he loves astronomy.
For our first Valentine’s Day, I got him an Under Lucky Stars map of the exact moment of our embrace. It now hangs in his bedroom and every time we look at it, it reminds us of our love.
