September 9th, 2009 was the first day of sixth grade.
I was starting a new school, where everything was fresh and unfamiliar. The morning was hectic and daunting. Third period was computer class. I was lost and late, and I couldn’t find it. Finally, I saw some other girl walking the same way. We walked into class together, a united and tardy front. We sat together all semester. Ten years later, I’m happy to call that girl my sister. Ten years of tears and laughter and family.
I’m so thankful I was late and lost under those stars, because I met my best friend.

My boyfriend, Taylor, and I started dating in May of 2013 and spent every day of that summer together and fell in love.
In November of 2017, Taylor told me we would be vacationing in Keystone, Colorado at the end of the month. I was thinking that we would probably get engaged, but nothing could have prepared me for that moment. On December 1st we wanted to go on a little hike near this river close to our resort. We were both standing next to this flowing river looking out at the view and when I turned around Taylor was on one knee and told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and then showed me the beautiful ring he picked out for me and asked me to marry him! Of course I said yes!
We are getting married April 6, 2019 and for this Valentine's Day before we are officially married I wanted to get an Under Lucky Stars map made from that special day. After we get married I plan on getting another Under Lucky Stars map from our wedding day and we can hang both maps side by side!

On October 21st, 2018, I didn't expect to fall in love.
I was supposed to meet a good friend of mine, go to San Francisco with her and leave her off to go see the Arctic Monkeys. Spend the day just hanging out, walking my dog, just relaxing! Little did I know, I'd be meeting the most incredible woman that would capture my heart.
My dog (Jilly) was just sniffing around when she tried to pull me past this really gorgeous girl with ocean blue eyes, as I was walking past her we exchanged quick "hello's", I glanced back and saw her still looking and smiling at me. Instantly, I knew I had to go see her and talk to her more. My friend and I sat down a few feet away from her. While talking to my friend about video games and comics, "Ocean Eyes" and I kept glancing at one another, throwing bashful smiles each other's way. Finally, my friend said, "Jesus, would you go talk to her already?!" So I did.
Ever since that day, we would exchange phone calls, text, video chat and meet up. After 3 dates, I asked her to be my girlfriend. I found the other piece of my heart in San Francisco, love finds you when it's time, not when you want it.

On November 14th 2019 I turned 30 years old.
What I thought was a nice birthday dinner with my boyfriend ended up being a surprise birthday party that he planned and threw for me! Little did I know that wasn't the last of the surprises.
When I was opening gifts there was a box, I opened it and saw a balloon that said, "Will you..." and then I opened another box that was inside and that balloon said, "Marry me?". And then the 3rd box had a beautiful engagement ring! Not only did he throw the perfect surprise party he also pulled off a surprise engagement.

That was the date and time of the first date I had with my wife. It was a Saturday and it was HOT! The air conditioning in my car didn't work too well, so I brought another shirt with me to change into before I went into the restaurant.
I remember watching this beautiful blonde walking up the sidewalk towards the restaurant and thinking, "She's a lot taller than I thought she was!". I met my wife on a dating app and only saw pictures of her. I knew she was about my height, but she looked taller than what she told me. We sat down and I began fanning her with my menu. Like I said, it was HOT! We had a great dinner and great conversation. After we finished eating she told me that she had to go shopping for a camera for her upcoming trip and invited me to go with her. I was so happy she did because I didn't want our time together to end. We went looking for a camera and did some other shopping before she brought me back to the restaurant.
We exchanged pleasantries but instead of kissing her goodnight, I gave her a fist bump. She looked at me in utter disbelief after I fist bumped her! We said goodnight and both went home. I later told her that I fist bumped her because I didn't want to ruin a great date by being forward and trying to kiss her. She told me that a kiss on the cheek was what she was expecting, not a fist bump! We have been married for almost 2 1/2 years now. I actually proposed to her on the 2 year anniversary of our first date at the same restaurant. And yes, it was HOT that day also.

Well, it all started here In Florida where I live. I had been through a bad breakup and trying to find true love. I had recently bought a new home and quite a large house, knowing that someday in the future I’d have a family to fill it! This was on October 16, and just one year later I found my soulmate!
I’m not one to sit around I truly make things happen. So, I went on a dating website for quite a while searching for love. After many failed attempts I finally found the person I was meant to be with.
I work for FPL as a lineman and I'd been through many hurricanes and working long hours. A phone call came to assist in the restoration of Puerto Rico, and of course, I jumped at the chance. So soon after I got on a plane for an island I’d never visited before to help these pore people get back on their feet.
Exactly 3 weeks prior I met my now wife back home, We went on a nice picnic and a simple coffee date. But something sparked me to pursue the amazing person. So literally our 4th date I invited her to come to visit me in Puerto Rico for a week, and it all started there.
After working 7 days a week 16 hrs a day I slowly found special feelings for this new found romance. We spent the week getting to know one another and becoming closer, and not to mention she was a military brat born in Puerto Rico when her the Chief father was in the Navy! So that alone held a place in her heart!
By the end of the week, I proclaimed my love for her, sitting on the famous wall from the battle forge built there to protect the Spanish from pirates.
After returning from Puerto Rico from 2 months of extreme hard restoration, I returned home to ask for her hand in marriage, knowing without a doubt this woman was meant for me! Now a year later a fairy tale romance and a fairy tale wedding in St Thomas, our lives are absolutely perfect, I couldn’t have dreamt a better life than what we have now!
It’s completely Amazing, to say the least!!

My story started not much longer before this specific date. I had met the most beautiful woman in the whole world. I knew from the second I met her I was going to marry her.
We had a few dates here and there, but I had played hard to get for too long. I realised I didn't want to spend another second without her. Then, Oct.14 2014 was the second worst day of my life and she was there to make everything better, we talked long into the night. At exactly 2:00am on Oct.15 2014 I asked her to be my girlfriend. And fast forward 4 years later to Oct 17, 2018, she asked me to marry her. Now, on May 19, 2019, we will be married.
Oct 15th, 2014 was the best day ever.

That night in Emerald Isle, I took my now wife home after we met at a bar in town. I was in the Coast Guard and lived oceanfront there in Emerald Isle. One of my favorite things to do was sit on the beach at night and look at the stars. Late I came to find out that it was one of her favorite things too. We've been together & inseparable ever since that night. We later got married in front of family & friends in that exact spot 2 years later.

Our story started sweet. We were best friends and both coming from hard relationships that ended badly. Both coming from engagements, but ending in each other's arms.
It was a beautiful October 4th day, we decided to meet at a park here in Las Vegas. It was the year of the election so we both had similar political views. That had us bonding. My brother was getting married at the end of the month so I needed a date. He offer to be my date! His ex fiance told him I liked him. So I brought that up saying, "You knew I liked you why didn't you do anything about it before?" He proceeded to say to me, "Well I am now!"
It was a happy surprise! This year we are celebrating 3 years together and I couldn't be happier that he is the man of my dreams!

This date is when I knew I was in love with my now husband.
He lived in Kearney NE and I lived in Lake Wales FL. It was on this night that after a while of texting and emailing, yes I met him online, that we had our first phone call.
Unfortunately, that day was when my sister's home was broken into and I had my niece and nephew to watch so they wouldn't be around all the law enforcement activities.
When he called, he didn't even hesitate to tell me to take care of the kids and if we needed anything at all, don't hesitate to call him! Not once did he complain or seem put out! Loved him from that moment on! We have now been married since June 17th, 2013!
Just wanted him to have a reminder of that night!!
