We are Under Lucky Stars, we make beautiful star maps showing the alignment of the stars in a place and date chosen by you.
Everyone has that special moment in their life that is worth making into a star map.
We asked you to tell us about yours.
Here are some of our favorites stories.

This was the day that I met my boyfriend’s children and our family truly started.
We had been dating for a while and it was a decided I would meet his girls on a trip to the zoo, which is in Royal Oak, Michigan. It was a huge step for him to introduce me to the loves of his life and terrifying for me because I wanted them to love me as much as I loved them. Now we are a complete family.
This date and time in now memorialized as a star map in our family room.

Monday, October 8, 2018 at 6:12 am, we said hello and goodbye to our beautiful stillborn daughter, Stella.
Unfortunately, Stella died when I was 36 weeks pregnant from an umbilical cord accident. I don’t expect our story to be told, or published, as our story is not a happy one. Stillbirth, dead babies, makes people uncomfortable, even though 2 million babies are stillborn in the worldwide each year. Very little research or discussion is focused on why some babies randomly die. Stella’s birth and death was the most devastating day of our lives.
Our star map, as the name Stella means star, is a beautiful image that shows us she existed. She came into this world, under the stars, she was a person, and she was here. Thank you for letting me tell her story.
Stella’s mom,
Emily Johnson

My names Mitch, and the last few years my life have run parallel to another’s.
Filled with her being friends with my brother, mentored by my mother, and having more mutual friends than could count. Neither knowing of the others' existence outside of a name whispered with no connection so it traveled in one ear and out the other. Then our roads collided.
With my brother's wedding day lurking around the corner, I saw all his friends making their way to our home for a fire and some drinks. I know most as they arrive due to them being longtime friends of my brother's and spending time with them as I grew up. But not her, not Jenny.
I remember seeing her face, her smile as she got out of the car and it was the only thing I saw, could see, I didn’t want to see anything else. My stomach knotted while we were introduced as I am a fairly shy person at first meeting, especially when standing in front of someone I didn’t want to take my eyes off of. The chances of making a fool of myself were decently high but I truly tried my best to get her attention.
It got cold outside, so I grabbed sweatshirts for everyone, making sure she received my favorite one of course! As the night went on and the alcohol started to ‘effect’ my brother's wedding party, I needed a moment to myself. I stood up from my chair and was asked where I was going, so I told them I was walking to the dock for a bit. As I walked away from the group she followed behind asking if she could join, FINALLY!!!
We walked together, quiet and both seemingly a little uncomfortable, but it still had a sense of calm there. We got to the dock, sat down at the edge and I dipped my feet in the water. She joined beside me, and nervous as I’ve ever been the only thing I could get out of my mouth was “I love the stars”. Smiling (as I later find out in life is her beautiful default facial expression) staring up at the late night sky she simply replies “me too”.
It was the smallest answer that was full of peace. From that second on it was like I had known her my whole life! We talked about how we both hated shoes, and loved the feeling of grass and earth between our toes. About our lives and found how close we had gotten to meeting each other so many times before but how the situations we were dealing with would have never let that first time together feel the same. I fell in love with a stranger that night, under that sky. And I haven’t let go of her since.
That’s the night I met my fiancé Joon!

Well I'm Chandler, I just used my now girlfriends address for the shipping (Elly).
It was out first date together and we went to the Pike NY tractor pulls. we both knew we were the one for each other. That night we watched the tractor pulls and dis did not talk much because of the loud tractors. Which was perfect because we are normally quiet people.
We have known each other our whole lives as we went to school with each other, but never really talked until we started dating. We stayed up with each other until about 1 a.m. until I dropped her off at her Dad's house. It has now been almost 3 years since we've been together, we just moved into an apartment together, and once we graduate school, her cosmology school and myself law school, we have a plan to move out of New York and either to Montana or Arizona.
But on the first date, I knew, and so did she, that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with each other. I'll never forget that. I can remember exactly what she wore that night as well as myself, because it was so special, the start of something special.

The moment I made was my grandparents' wedding day.
My grandparents were my role models and showed me a lot about who I was and how to handle things. I always go to their house just to spend time with them. Their wedding anniversary of 18 years came up. I gave this phone case to my grandmother as a gift. These past few months have been really hard on her because my grandfather passed away 4 months ago.
This was a nice way to give her something to always keep to remind her of their special night. Which was the night she married her best friend. Since my grandfather wasn’t there to give her a gift on their anniversary, I gave her a gift in remembrance of not only my pap but her husband. It was bitter sweet but we are slowly getting through things together. She is there for me and I’m here for her no matter what. Pap will always be in our hearts even if things get tough we will know he is always watching over us.
This is my story of why I chose to buy Under Lucky Stars phone case. And now we have our lucky star in the sky named pap.

Engaging on a year work contract I arrived in Surabaya ready to focus on the year ahead and having my heart broken so many times to stay single.
On my second night a work colleague persuaded me to go to a bar as it was our first Saturday night in Indonesia and one really ought to see what fun could be had in a city we were going to call home. I really wasn't up to partying as I was jet-lagged having endured the long flight from London. I hastily agreed and whilst in the bar we noticed more and more Western people coming in. My haphazard friend Jamie decided a bunch of Dutch sailors who had just walked in were going to be entertained by him and moved over the crowded bar to converse with them.
After a few minutes he called me over to come and join these extremely tall somewhat daunting guys for a beer... and that's when our eyes met.
My handsome Sailor who was only going to be in Surabaya for one night. We talked all night and found we had so many things in common and kindred spirits but destiny had dealt us a cruel hand with him having to go back on the ship and sailing on to Taiwan the next day and myself tied to a year-long contract.
Four months later of endless text messages and long distance phone calls my Dutch Sailor flew over to Bali so we could meet up and see if what we had was something. And indeed it was, we were completely in love. Over two years later I am living in The Netherlands with my handsome sailor who walked into my life (and stayed there) 8th October 2016 at 10.00pm in Surbaya, Indonesia.
We like to tell our friends that night all the stars were aligned perfectly for us to meet.

The time and date represented is the time my now wife and I took our first picture together.
We met in Afghanistan and took a picture on our first “date” to a little coffee shop called Green Beans. After the picture, we walked outside and both noticed how pretty the stars were.
Under Lucky Stars made a great first Valentine’s Day gift!

I had just finished my first public speaking competition and befriended some of my competitors.
We were hanging out, talking, and laughing when one of them suggested meeting up with a friend of theirs that was in one of the computer competitions. We went to meet up with this mysterious third friend and that's when I saw my soulmate for the first time (though I didn't know it yet).
We chatted a lot, he helped me fix someone's car (though I always say I taught him how that day) and we had an all around a great time. We both even placed in our competitions! He added me on Facebook that night, and we talked everyday for over a year.
On May 7th, 2016, after he came to one of my talent shows/concerts, he asked me out. We already knew everything about each other, and it turns out that we both had feelings for each other (though his started first, he knew we would be together before I did) but were too nervous to act on those feelings before that night.
Its been just over three years since we started dating... but my favourite day will ALWAYS be 10/04/2015, the day I ran into the love of my life by pure chance at a competition I almost didn't attend.

This date and time was the very first kiss I shared with my boyfriend.
We were on a trip to California before where we fell in love with each other and as soon as we arrived home we went on a date, our first date.
It was a romantic evening on the Danube.
The star map was a gift to my boyfriend who was thrilled when he got it for his birthday. :)

There's nothing better than connecting a birth with the sky.
That's what I've done with my star chart. Maria was my second baby and she decided to come to the world later than expected, so we had to help her and tell her that it was high time she met her family.
She's going to be 18 next 26th July and she's really enthusiastic about stars, planets and the sky. She got a telescope for Christmas and knows everything about the sky that is above us, so I know this star chart will be the greatest present she's ever received. She's also my special star, and she knows it. She's the second of three children and we have a special relationship, one of these in which you don't have to talk to make you be understood.
