I got my star chart for my girlfriend and it was for our first date.
It was a fairly cloudy night, but she is a very spiritual person and very into the stars, moon phases, etc, so I thought this would be a great Christmas gift. She was completely surprised and absolutely loved it! She also commented that she really wanted one and had said she was going to eventually get one. The star map is a great reminder of the day my life changed because June 20, 2018 was the best day of my life. I knew that after about 10 minutes of our first date, I was going to marry this girl one day. We do plan on getting married one day soon and this star map will always be a unique reminder of that very first date when it all began. It was an absolutely amazing Christmas gift for an even more amazing woman and the whole process with Under Lucky Stars was great along the way. I can’t wait for the future and having a couple more maps for our engagement day and wedding day.
I will certainly be back to Under Lucky Stars to commemorate those special days as well!

I had known this guy for around a decade.
We had gone to primary school together but as he is a few years older than me we never really got a chance to be more than acquaintances. He went to a different high school but we actually managed to end up working in the same place so we sort of reconnected. He was friends with my older sister so I saw him quite often but we never really became friends on our own accord.
Then one day a few years down the track we had a conversation at work which in turn lead to us having our first date. The 29th of September 2018 marks the day of our first date, or rather the day I realised I’d found my soul mate. I love this man more than anything, and to symbolise it I had our Under Lucky Stars map made (which he cried about when I gave it to him, so precious).

The date and time I chose for my constellation has a pretty funny little love story behind it.
At the time I had been working at a hotel as a valet. A typical busy music night it the lobby meant a full dance floor poppin' with locals and travelers. Being valet, I would see almost every face that walked in or out of the hotel. Many cute girls and young men mingling around and myself, a young single guy on the job. At one point in the middle of the evening, a girl came in and caught my eye.
Whether I was nervous or just plain self-conscious, I don’t know, but I didn’t shoot my shot. I just continued organizing keys and parking cars.
As my shift came to an end and people started to either head to their rooms for the night, or back on the streets to the next spot to drink, I noticed the pretty girl from earlier standing with some friends about to leave. I was chatting with a friend who had been drinking and hanging out inside when I felt someone standing beside me.
Surprised at first, I expected maybe she needed directions, but when she calmly asked, “ummm.. yea' I was just wondering if you were wearing socks.. “. Without thinking I reached down and pulled some of my no-show socks from my slip on vans and said, “Yea' uhh.. ha ha.. that’s pretty random. Is that really what you wanted to ask?” She turned and confirmed the information about my socks to her group and they applauded and naturally I assumed maybe she was on a scavenger hunt. With a big nervous smile on her face and she looked back and batted her pretty long lashes and said, “No uhh I actually just thought you were really cute and wanted to talk to you”.
Being newly single and also so shocked that SHE was hitting on ME, I replied quickly, “OH S**T REALLY?! uh damn thanks.” After the usual ‘are you single’, exchanging names and numbers, and fast nervous small talk while I neglect my walkie-talkie chatter from my PBX receptionist, that would be the moment I met my person.
My town, shortly after, was struck with a wildfire disaster and most communications were down, but we happened to be together when it happened so it brought us closer than ever. It brought us to Italy on our sixth month and it the reason I'm getting her these lucky stars for our ONE YEAR anniversary.
I’ve never met someone so perfect for me. She gets me on more levels than anyone and we connect so organically.
If our story taught me anything it’s these three things:
- When you know, you know.
- When you aren’t searching you find the best treasures.
- And that the most important and gratifying feeling is feeling appreciated and showing someone how much you appreciate them.
If you find someone and they make you feel like that, thank your lucky stars and go with it. It doesn’t happen every day so keep your eyes open and WEAR SOCKS!! And for any girls out there or any guys who don’t know how to initiate conversation, JUST SAY SOMETHING, because it could be the start of EVERYTHING.

Well our story started at an honor band performance in commerce, Texas...
I was standing in the lobby waiting for my family to exit the auditorium when Emily came up and started a conversation. I worked up the courage to ask for her phone number before her family came and took her away from me. We had a brief conversation over text that night and then didn’t talk again, as I was seeing someone else at the time.
After the current girl broke up with me, I decided to give Emily a text. We began talking and a week later I asked her out to dinner. I drove to her house and met her dad, he was a little intimidating at first but I soon melted his scary shell and he became my favorite part about the relationship.
After a couple more dates, we went to each other's prom and had a pretty mediocre time at both. Neither of us are into party music and there wasn’t anything to dance to. After the second prom, I could tell things were on the downhill. She didn’t talk as much and when we were together, she didn’t act very interested. I was going to give her the star map for our first anniversary but a couple hours before we went out to dinner, she texted me and said she wasn’t feeling well. Later that night she called me and broke up with me. She was a year younger than I and I was about to graduate so she said our priorities were too far apart.
Really sucks because I liked her a lot. I was her first boyfriend and I guess she just wasn’t ready for a relationship.

On 4/16/2004 at 10:55, my daughter was born. She has a great love for astronomy!! So when I saw this I knew she would love it! When I got it in the mail and saw how beautiful it was. The texture of the stock snd quality of the work. It was a perfect birthday gift!!

My girlfriend was born in America, but her family moved to England when she was a baby, and by good fortune she grew up in my city where we met! I got her this star map for her eighteenth birthday, three years after we got together.
It was a lucky day for the world.

It was my wedding day.
At precisely that time, me and my wife were behind the curtain waiting for the host of the wedding to announce our entrance and we came out to a huge standing ovation from about 650 people with the song "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran being played over the loudspeakers.
That was our special moment.

It was our first kiss.
I was hanging out and drinking with some friends at my house and one of the friends is my current girlfriend. We had been best friends since we were in middle school but I never thought she was into me. We were both in unhappy relationships that we were about to end. At some point in the night we were on my back porch smoking and talking about the good old days and our other friends go inside to grab more drinks and another pack of cigarettes, leaving us alone. She looked at me, grabbed my face, and kissed me. After she kissed me she pulled back with a way look on her face and just said "oops". I was so shocked that I didn't even realize I was burning myself with my cigarette. We broke up with our S.O's the following morning and have been dating ever since.

April 1st 2018 is the day that I joined lives with my wife. At exactly 6 is when the wedding started it's a moment I never will forget and the stars in the sky above us were witnesses to that moment.
