The date that’s on the star map is very special to me.
It marks the first date I ever went with my boyfriend. It marks the exact moment I knew that he was the one I wanted to be with forever. It marks the moment I knew I loved him.
It sounds like a fairytale, but it’s true. I had finally found the man I always dreamed of and was always searching for.
No other place was more romantic than our first date at the Drive-In. We cuddled up under blankets in the back of the car. Talked forever getting to know each other. We didn’t even really pay attention to Grease (the movie that was playing).
What makes the night extra special to me was that it didn’t feel like a first date with a stranger. It felt like I was with someone I had known for years. It felt like we knew each other long before that night. It was the most romantic and incredible date I’ve ever been on. Even though he does make almost every day come close.
I’m unbelievably thankful I met him and went on that date with him. That’s why I decided to gift him the star map for Valentine’s Day. He absolutely loves it!

After living in the UK for four years, I was expecting to move back to my hometown of Toronto, Canada in a few short months...
A few of my friends happened to be in town, so without hesitation I met up with them thinking it may be the only chance I get to see them - if not ever again, then at least several years.
We met up at The Owl & Pussycat pub in Shoreditch. Walking in, I instantly locked eyes with one of the unfamiliar faces at the table. After saying hello to everyone I already knew, I was giddy to introduce myself to the tall, chiseled face at the end of the table. He stood up, introduced himself, hugged me and non-creepily kissed me on the cheek.
After a full night of laughs, a couple of drinks and a middle of the street play-wrestle with this hunk, we ended up saying see ya - in my mind thinking 'aw he was nice - so long'.
But the next day, we started speaking and from then on have been inseparable. Going on three years, we now live together and laugh every single day (at and with each other).
I believe our one-off chance meeting - just a couple of months before I was meant to move away forever, never to meet him again - was written in the stars.
On mundane days, it's nice to be reminded of this with the star chart and think about how life has a funny way of working out.

He was sitting on the bus stop, I was leaving work earlier...
It started raining and the bus stop got crowded. We exchanged a quick "hi" but that was it. He didn't approach me, he didn't offer a seat(!)
The bus came and the crowd kind of pushed us together and so we entered side by side. He engaged in a conversation and I quickly noticed he was funny and had kind eyes.
Back then I didn't realise these eyes were what I was looking for my whole life.

On that specific day, I was going through a hard time with a health issue. And on that night I met him.
I was finishing medical school and was about to graduate at this point. But I got sick during that year. It was the last year of college and some friends tried to convince me to go out and have fun. I was resistant at the beginning but agreed.
I was having fun but I was emotionally closed and did not want to involve myself with anyone. At least that was my plan! Things did not happen quite the way I expected and I met him on that night. I was not very kind and had this armor around me. Despite my resistance to getting to know him, we talked and he got my phone number.
He used to call me every night, and day without knowing what was happening to me. Slowly we started to get to know each other better. After a month I agreed to see him again and after that day we were never apart again. He has always been gentle, kind, funny and friendly. As time went on I got a little better each time I saw him and started to heal more quickly. Without knowing it, he helped me heal.
He makes me feel special and loved in a way I never felt before. I used to say he’s my medicine.
We’ve been together for five years now, got engaged, we live together and are planning to increase our family this year.
So my Under Lucky Stars is about me as a lucky person for meeting my future husband on that day and about him as a person bringing me love, health, and hope.

At this place and at that time me and my girlfriend became official after a couple months of dating. But it isn't the most usual story, let me tell you.
I had a girlfriend, we were about 7 months together but we always fought, yelled at each other and never really had fun. But, the loyal person that I am, I will never ever cheat on my girlfriend.
One day, a mate of mine told me he was going to a house party, he invited his girlfriend and she said she would bring somebody with her as well. We were sitting at this party when my mates girlfriend and another girl walked into the room, I immediately saw the girl my mates girlfriend brought. Long, really curly hair, a really cute face and an honest smile. During the night we started talking about my life and my girlfriend and I. I told her that I was happy and that everything was perfect just the way it was.
A couple of moths later my and I girlfriend broke up, I was really upset, although we always fought and yelled at each other. I told my mate that me and my girlfriend broke up, he told me that I had to go on with my life and make the best of it and just had to see new people, so he arranged a double date!! He told his girlfriend that I was single again, she immediately told the girl she brought to the party and you will never believe what she said. She said that she fell in love the moment she saw me at the house party and that she always thought of me during the months we hadn't spoken. On April 16, we had the double date, I live in the Netherlands so we had to go to Amsterdam. We spent a full day there and had a meal in Egmond aan Zee, at a restaurant that's literally on the beach. After we had dinner we took a walk on the beach.
After this double date we had many other dates and in every date I just knew it was fate that had brought us together. It was written in the stars!

My daughter was born on 27th August 2014. And to have the star chart of that time in the house makes it more special and touching. Every time we see it, it reminds us the wonderful gift that the almighty has given us under that stars. Definitely recommend this for every new parent.

The reason that date means so much to me and my wife is because that is the day our beautiful baby girl was born.
It was the day our life changed forever we are forever thankful for that day and I want to thank you guys for me being able to give my wife such a special Mother’s Day gift.

Was the first night, first date, the beginning of a change in my life that I’m so thankful for.
I met my beautiful girlfriend and went to our first concert to see Frankie Ballard, Thomas Rhett, and Florida Georgia Line. At the end of the concert we had our very first kiss in front of everyone attending the concert. It seemed like something out of a movie, the beginning of the evening we both clicked and knew from that moment on we found our missing pieces to fulfill our lives. I knew this moment as well as others in life to come was and will be something I need to always keep in physical form.
We always will cherish memories, but I found the under lucky stars map to really fulfill those memories and always have something to look back on and tell others a story of what happened under those stars.

I chose the date, time, and location that I did because that seemingly random information has become one of the most important moments in everybody's life.
It was a birth, but not of my own; that of the most beautiful, amazing, funny, intelligent (and so much more) woman I have ever had the privilege of crossing paths with; My perfect "business associate", girlfriend, and wife.
When deciding to purchase a star map I thought for many days and hours on what information to put on, the day we met, when we became official, etc., but realized that the most important day wasn't any of those it was the day that the sky lost a star but the Earth gained an equally beautiful soul.

Well, that exact date marks my second little princess' very first moment when she brighten my life for the first time.
Since then, she made so much memorable moments, but this was her first attempt to make her proud father smile. She succeeded then.
On the picture, she is the one under the pile of my happiness.
