Everyone has that special moment in their life that is worth making into a star map.
We asked you to tell us about yours.
Here are some of our favorites stories.

I wasn’t even born yet, but I was present for this special moment. February 2nd, 1996 was the day my parents got married. They were going to have the wedding in June but my mom was pregnant with me.
I purchased this gift for my parents for their 23rd wedding anniversary. I thought this would be a wonderful way for my parents to celebrate one the of the happiest days of their lives and they absolutely loved it!

My name is Senddy and I made this gift for my significant other, Juan. I sent it to him as an anniversary gift. On February 1 2016 7:37pm PST I finally said yes to being his girlfriend.
He has asked me previously and I said I thought we needed a bit more time. But then, from the last week of January I started to receive either chocolates or flowers!

Patchway, Bristol, UK on the 15th of October, 2011, at 8:00pm was the exact moment my life changed and could never be the same again.
It was the moment I first saw her. At the time the significance was lost on me. There was no clue that this night would be any different to the night before, other than I had arranged to meet her for a date. I didn't see it coming there was no secret clue.
Now, 7 years later I look back at that moment and cherish it more than almost any other. You see, unbeknownst to me this lady was to become my wife, and give me a beautiful girl. I was to buy our first home and be there for each other on the highs to come, and the lows.
This is the moment that changed my life, the moment it would never be the same, the moment I found true love.

This was the night of our first official date.
We went out to this lookout as the last stop for our night, and we couldn’t see anything! We were disappointed, but ended up staying and chatting anyway, and was a really nice way to finish the night in the end.
I bought this star map to show us what we would have seen if it weren’t for the trees and clouds.

My then crush and I had been flirting back and forth, we even had a game where we'd tally up how many times we could make the other blush and the winner got to pick their prize. Well he had won and asked for a kiss.
Flash forward to November 17th, I was on my way to a football game and a friend asked where my boyfriend was and I said he wasn't my boyfriend and saying that didn't feel right and I worried I'd lose him or we weren't looking for the same thing. I'd asked him the famous " what are we?" question, and he asked what I wanted to be, I was so shy I used the "I asked first" excuse.
He told me he wanted to be my boyfriend and he would take care of me. Keep in mind this whole conversation happened over phone, I was with the band at a high school football game and he was home, he took off and followed us back to the school after the game just to properly ask me to be his girlfriend, of course I said yes and he picked me up, kissed me, and spun me in a circle, and I've never been happier.

It's quite simple! We were together at the time for 6 years and It was time. We flew from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to Atlanta Georgia to meet up with my family, stayed for the night and then flew out the next day to start our once in a lifetime trip touring Italy with #insightvacations. All with the ring in my carry on back-pack with her trying to get into it every five minutes. She would try to go in it for headphones, snacks, sleepwear etc.
When we arrived I gave the ring to my dad to hold and with the traveling and walking and site seeing throughout the week, time started to slip away. It got to the last day and where better to do it than at the location of my favorite movie, Gladiator! It was like Fort Knox getting into the Coliseum with metal detectors at everyone point. My dad and I were handing off the ring like mission impossible back and forth getting it in without my fiance seeing.
Long story short 95-degree weather walking all over Italy for 8 days and seeing 9 cities we were tired and hot and I made her do one final hike to the top of the Coliseum for a "picture" and she was still as beautiful as the day I saw her. She knew something was up when all 31 out of 33 members of our tour group had their cameras out... you know the rest.
Thankfully she said yes, and I shouted, "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!"

After 28 years of marriage I lost my wife at Christmas 2015.
Then I found my current new love, Caroline who made my life whole again. So during our first trip to NYC I proposed on Bow Bridge...luckily she said yes, so we then went straight to Tiffany's & bought the engagement ring.
We are now planning our wedding next year (2020) at our very special place.

What happened in Lidköping on the 17th of August 2018 changed my life forever.
I stepped out of the bus and walked towards the parking lot and there he stood. I didn't know then that he was going to be my first real love, my first boyfriend. That he was going to be the person who loves me, takes care of me and want to move in together with me. Before I met him I was depressed and didn't enjoy my life. I didn't have anyone who told me they love me.
I was so nervous stepping out of the bus and walking towards him. He was standing there waiting for me, he was looking the other way which made me a little less nervous. When I got close enough I said hi and he turned around and it was like love at first sight. When thinking back on that moment it was like time stopped.
Ever since that date he has taken care of me, making sure I am happy. But just as he takes care of me I take care of him as well.
I love him and I have since that night.
On Valentines Day I gave the Star Map to him and he thought it was a beautiful way of remembering our first date and the night we fell in love.

The night of June 21st 2014 was the first night of an annual family vacation and the night my now husband proposed to me under the stars on the beach.
The funny thing about this story is that he had me believing he didn't want to get married and I was considering leaving him! So it was a HUGE surprise and a VERY special moment for us. He had even asked my dad permission and bought the rings months in advance (while we were arguing about his disbelief in marriage mind you).
Now we've almost been married 3 years we got married on the same day which is the summer solstice, longest day of the year and is supposed to symbolize long lasting relationships. I got the map for him for Christmas and he loved it!
Thanks, guys for your beautiful work and hopefully more special dates to come!
