I was at work the night if June 1st, 2018.
I worked in a hospital, and I was on the 8th floor when I got a text message from an unknown number. I asked who it was and i got a picture message of one of my best friends from my childhood. I grew up with her and her brother, and we hadn't spoken in 5 years. This was someone who I always wanted to be with, but the opportunity never came up. We started talking 5 years ago, and it just wasn't the right time.
So, we talked for the rest of the night and eventually, she said: "I'm coming to see you". About 30 min later, she arrives and we meet in the parking garage. I hugged her for the first time in 5 years, and all my troubles were washed away. Since that night, it's all changed.
We continue talking, but I have to leave to go to a work seminar. I hug her, and I thought it was the last time. Something in my head said "kiss her" and as I took a step away, I just said "okay", turned and kissed her. I've never felt so happy in my life. And from that moment on, my life has been amazing.
We are married now, and I finally got to be with the love of my life. I'll never forget that night.
I was in a very abusive relationship, physically and mentally. I was with someone for 3 1/2 years that cheated on me every step of the way, and we even have a child together.
But now everything is so much better, thanks to my wife.

On the 16th of October in San Jose California, I fell In love with my best friend.
Before the stars formed over us at 9:32pm, we had dinner at a restaurant that overlooked the whole city. As the night faded, my love for her grew stronger. After dinner, we parked at the highest point overseeing the beautiful city lights and was blessed with a kiss from an angel.
For Valentine’s Day, I got her this poster to always remember the best day of my life. The moment I met her, ever since then I realized I’ll always be under lucky stars with her by my side.

I met an amazing woman.
We dated. Things weren't right at that time. We split. We kept in touch.
We married other people. I divorced. I met a new partner. We still kept in touch.
My partner contracted Amylotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and died. She visited. We talked.
She's getting a divorce and there is a whole universe ahead of us. We just had to wait 37 years.

This is where I asked my wife to marry me.
This address is the Tulsa Zoo. It was in a gazebo near the Lions exhibit. Funny story - while I was on one knee proposing, people were running over to the lion's fence laughing. Mothers were covering their children's eyes, teenagers were wide-eyed in amazement...
I proposed at the exact time the Lions decided to mate!
I call that inspirational!

I had been single for several years and, honestly, so focused on my career that I didn’t have time for a relationship in my life.
One afternoon, I made plans to go have dinner with my one friend and his husband in Elizabethtown, PA. Throughout the day, we communicated what time we were planning to go and my friend, Doug, suggested that he would pick me up on his way there as he would be near my house visiting another friend in the afternoon.
When Doug pulled in my driveway, he had brought his friend, Ricky, with him. We all travelled to Elizabethtown together and Doug’s husband, Steve, met us there after his work day. Over dinner, we all talked and Ricky and I got to know one another. Ricky and I immediately hit it off and I felt like I had met the person I had been missing in my life. We began spending a great deal of time together and our relationship had quickly begun.
It has now been six months and I cannot imagine my life without Ricky. I can say with complete certainty that he has been the missing piece in my life. He is my biggest supporter and my biggest fan, my rock and my strength, my rationality and my reason.
I love him with all my heart and I cannot wait to see where life takes us as a couple. Ricky is not just my boyfriend or partner; he is my future husband and my forever man.

I was born 1980 in eastern Germany, that time known as 'German Democratic Republic'.
My husband comes from the western part of Germany. October 3rd is a national holiday, the 'Day of german Reunification'. So, this date became our personal day of unity.
It was our first date after we wrote some sentences on an internet dating platform. I was working at a huge fast-food restaurant at that time and had fewer work-free days.
So we had chosen the holiday to have a meeting at the 'Werdersee' in Bremen. He came with his red little Ford to pick me up at the Central Station in Bremen, where we saw us the first time live. He lived nearly 30 minutes away. I had an apartment in Bremen, but little far away from the city, so I had to use the train.
As I was leaving the Central Station to look after a red Ford or my date, I nearly passed him by. But he saw me. He thought a moment if he should call me over or if he should leave that scene. But he shouted at me 'Here I am'.
Nervous and a little shy, as first dates are, we were shaking hands, a short hug and then we drove to the 'Werdersee'. Arrived there we were walking around the sea, talking, shyly holding each others hand, thousand sorry's for wet hands and had a short break on a park bench. We were watching planes flying above us. It started raining, so we had to run back to the car. He was a gentleman and drove me back to my apartment. As we arrived there, we were both a little confused. Is it ending here, should we go up or say bye... Still sitting in the car in front of my home we had a first little kiss. I offered him to stay a while because he had made a way to meet me. So we were talking on the couch, giggling and kissing. I can't remember if we had a coffee, eat something or so. Just remembering that couch and how we sat there. As he had to leave because of a long way home, we knew we will meet again.
This year we'll have our 8th anniversary. And we are married since 2017. Our holiday date is bringing him always tears to his blue eyes, so I ordered that map, to give him a good feeling, whenever he passes by.

How I Met My Husband!
My husband and I both ride motorcycles, that is how our paths crossed, well besides the red string, of course :)
One day, Steve saw me at a charity motorcycle event, from across the patio, and asked someone who I was. He did not talk to me, just sent me a friend request on Facebook. lol
I did not accept his friend request because I had no idea who he was. A couple of months went by and I did a photoshoot for a charity biker babes calendar. Steve was actually at the photoshoot that day but arrived after I had left, but he was tagged in some of the post from the event. I was tagged in the posts as well, and saw his friend request again. Thinking we had met at the photoshoot, I accepted his friend request.
He messaged me a couple of times over the next week, specifically about the photoshoot, so I thought nothing of it. Then one day, he asked me if I wanted to go for a motorcycle ride, me riding my own bike. I said, Yes, I take every chance I get to ride with friends. It was not a date, just an evening ride like a lot of us often do. Plus being that I thought we had already met, no worries!
So we planned to meet at my house after I got off work. I went home, got ready and Steve texted me that he was close, so I gave him the exact address. He pulled up to my house at 5pm on October 18th, 2017!! I walked out the door, down the steps to my bike. We hugged, like old friends, and that is when he told me we had never met in person before!
I was amazed because it felt like we had known each other for many years, everything just flowed and we had a great night, some other friends joined us a little later. We rode back to Loveland, where we both live, I went my way and he went his way. The next morning everyone started asking me a zillion question about the guy I was with the night before. I assured everyone we were just friends and had just met, there was nothing more going on. I was convinced of it myself as well.
Until that first text, Steve texted me to make sure I made it home safe and sound from the previous night. I sent him a picture back, the texts were constant throughout the whole day and so were the butterflies!
We have been inseparable since that day. He asked me to marry him while we were in Mexico in February 2018. We were married on September 16th, 2018. He is the love of my life, we are twin flames and are attached by a red string (look it up if you don't know).
When I saw Under Lucky Stars, there was no way I could pass it up. I gave it to Steve on Christmas day and we both love it sooo much!!

The story is my best friend's story.
After years of wanting and dreaming of moving to Colorado, she and her family (husband and 2 kids) packed up their household and finally set out to make Colorado home.
They arrived in the town of Monument, CO - which would become their home - on 10/01/2017.
The Under Lucky Stars map is a great way to remember the precise moment in time when they took charge of their future and started making their dreams come true. I gifted the map to my friend on her 40th birthday. It was received with great happiness and my friend describes the map as "the best gift ever received."
They will always remember October 1, 2017, as the day their lives changed forever. Thank you for making this possible.

On this special day, my boyfriend asked me to be his girlfriend during his shift in midtown Manhattan.
My boyfriend and I met during mid-October 2016 in Billy Beez at the Palisades Mall. It was the 2nd birthday of a daughter of our mutual friend. He went with his daughter to the birthday party and I brought my little sister. This birthday party had 2 parts. Part one was cutting the cake at the house and part two had some fun at a kids place. That day nothing was really going so well for the simple fact that I was car-less because my parents had plans with the family car. Walking to the bus, I bumped into my aunt who was willing to drive us (my sister & I) to the house, where the cake was cut. After that, my friend and his family drove those who didn't have a car to the part two of the birthday.
As we arrive, there were already people there waiting for the birthday girl to have some fun. I spotted this handsome man with a little girl on his shoulder but I didn't think he was part of the birthday party group. The little girl looked at me and I waved and she smiled and tried to hide on his shoulder, they got closer to me and we kept doing the same back and forth and he asked her "you want to go with her?" With no hesitation she did. He was surprised because she doesn't do that with anyone. I asked him if that was his daughter and he said yes. Asked for her name and age then I asked if it was okay for me to take her to some slides and trampolines and he said yes it is okay.
So my sister, his daughter and I went to go have some fun. Once we were tired and done, we came back to the party group at the end of the day he asked me for my number and I gave it to him.
3 days later ("guy rule"), he messaged me. We clicked right away and spoke and messaged every day on the phone. We didn't see each other until a month and a half later due to the holidays, planning my parents 25th wedding anniversary party and our work schedule. We were losing a little bit of hope because we didn't see each other after that birthday party. So after the Thanksgiving holiday was over, we decided to see each other the following day and it was our first date. We went on 2 more dates the following month of December.
The 4th time we saw each wasn't planned. I had finished my OT at my job in Queens and he was on his way to drop off a patient at the Lennox Hill Hospital (he's an EMS). I asked him if I can see him since it was easy for me to get to him even if it is to see him for a few minutes and he agreed. We met at this corner and I took photos of us because he made me happy and I love taking photos. We spoke for a little bit. A few seconds later, he looked at me and asked me if he can ask me a question and I said go ahead.
He asked me: "Would you like to be my girlfriend?". And I said "YES!". So happily. Then after that, he got a call and had to go to save some lives. I was the happiest girl that day & still am today.
We love stars and I decided to give him the star chart on our 2nd year anniversary. He was speechless and it was a very memorable moment. I love him and his daughter so much, they are my little family. This photo was taken a few minutes before he asked me to be his girlfriend.

My brother and his wife were married on Valentine's Day in 2014.
Shortly after getting married, they got pregnant with their son, Alec. And shortly after that, my brother got diagnosed with stage 4 neuroendocrine cancer. My 36-year-old brother passed away in December of 2018 and I purchased the Under Lucky Stars map for his wife for Christmas, which was 2 weeks after he passed away, so she would have something to remember the exact day and moment they promised to love each other forever.
And she could look at those stars and always see him in them. It was a very special gift.
